2017 Festival VENDOR Meetings

This information is for artists and vendors who have registered and paid to be in the 9/23/17 Festival!

2017 FESTIVAL VENDOR MEETINGS are listed below:

First off- are you on Facebook?  Are we “friends” and have you been added to the private “The Purple Painted Lady Vendor Page?”  If no- find me “Tricia Migliore Kuntz” and send me a friend request!

Ok…vendor meetings!

All artists and vendors MUST attend ONE meeting.  The only valid reason for not attending one of the meeting dates – is that you are in a different state till September.

ALUMNI vs NEWBIE MEETINGS:
We are doing something different this year. In order to expedite the length of the meetings- artists who have done the show before (alumni) – their meetings will be held separately and sooner versus the meetings for “newbies.” A “newbie” is defined by an artist or vendor that has NOT done our show before.

**** I appreciate all who have invested in my show in the past – and alumni get first right of refusal of their location from the previous year, or to move to a new location.

Once the “Alumni” meetings have been completed – we will host sessions for newbies and they will select and be populated in to the show’s map layout. Some exceptions to this are food trucks, artists who have purchased multiple spaces or MUST HAVE their vehicle near them (like farmers with wagons.)

Note that this show does not permit your car next to your tent.  I think that makes a show look like a flea market.

(PLEASE do not email me or text me or Facebook me requesting a booth location or stating you want the same spot as in 2016)

MEETING DATES ARE:

ALUMNI MEETING DATES (meaning you have been in the show prior):
Sunday, June 11th at 7pm
Monday, June 26th at 7pm
Wednesday, July 5th at 7pm

NEWBIE MEETING DATES (meaning you have NEVER been in the show before):
Thursday, July 13th at 7pm
Tuesday, July 25th at 7pm
Wednesday, August 9th at 7pm

Meetings will last approximately an hour (or be less.)

YOU NEED TO:
1. SHOW UP ON TIME. It is difficult to share that much information with a large group if people interrupt the meeting arriving late…so please plan ahead and show up on time. : )
2. BRING YOUR DONATED RAFFLE ITEM: Artists will bring their donated raffle item valued at a minimum of $30 and that represents their booth. Please attach a business card or a note identifying your business with all your contact information on it. If you have multiple items, please bundle them into a bag or basket. You cannot re-gift a generic item. Your raffle item must represent your art and it cannot be a Gift Certificate – UNLESS you are a food truck.
3. BRING A FOLDING CHAIR to sit in
4. If you are a food provider and have not provided Trish a copy of your “Certificate of Liability Insurance” noting The Purple Painted Lady 845 Yellow Mills Road Palmyra NY 14522 on it- get one and bring it!

MEETINGS WILL BE HELD at my home (the festival side of the road)
 We will have someone directing parking hopefully.

Meetings are held RAIN OR SHINE!

IF RAINING- LOCATION ADDRESS MAY CHANGE TO OUR PROPERTY ACROSS THE STREET

In case of thunderstorms- look here on this Facebook page on the day of the meeting – BECAUSE we may change the location to the opposite side of the street and host the meeting inside the HUGE barn. There will be a large sandwich board that states “The Purple Painted Lady” at the road indicating which driveway to enter.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
We will be handing out purple folders containing information about the 9/23/17 festival such as:
*Improvements for 2017 (tripled the amount of port-a-potties, lounge areas, ATM machine, wider walkways, On-Line Festival Map, Booth Numbers, On site paramedics, Yard Sprayed for bees, Macedon Town Police & Wayne County Sheriffs directing traffic, etc)
*Reminder of Show Rules (no smoking, etc)
*Set up details
*Raffle/Courier Service by Venture Crew 313
*Emergency Number
*EMT Information
*Detour Information
*Handout of Festival Postcards and posters
*Sign up for who can have a “skid banner” in their yard
*Expectations for the show
*Break Down / Exiting Rules
