Painting Wallpaper With Chalk Paint®? This was a great question from The Picket Fence. The answer is YES, but read the following!

Open 10 - 4pm today in Palmyra. Keep in mind- all shipments from any where in the US will have an extra day in their normal delivery due to Memorial Day. Have an awesome Saturday!!!
I have a question: I found an awesome retro dresser that I love and I want to paint it with ASCP but it has a formica top. Will that hold the paint??

Hi there fron Texas! I watched your video where you showed hiw to "lay the paint" and was wondering what kind of brush were you using and what size is it? Also, ang suggestions on painting a surface that isn't completely flat, like ornamental designs in the wood and grooves like the piece in the photo I'm working on?
Great site folks!! I stumbled across it yesterday & found tons of helpful info. Ordered a few things & they shipped the same day. Awesome service & very helpful!!

Only 8 days left and soon we will be in the new bigger space. I must admit - the excitement is bittersweet. I have loved my little store in the Village of Palmyra, NY. Funny how it was just a couple years BEFORE I moved in this space - that I knew, if I ever had a store- I would want it to be right here. (but if only it was bigger!) This store has always been a magical place to me..especially at night. I would tell my daughter Danni that I believed little fairies lived here and they came out at night - because what a fun and happy place it was. Well, I have never seen a fairy, but if I was one- I know I would live here. Kind of corny- but this store has meant so much to me ....and the people who have passed through the front door have meant even more. Thank you to everyone who has supported my business and allowed me to be here to do what I love. And that is paint and to help you whenever I can. It is a privilege to be a stockist and I truly appreciate all of the relationships I have made through this journey. I hope you will come out and see me in June at the new "diamond in the rough" location in Macedon (77 West Main Street, 14502)

The new 2000 sq ft store in the Village of Macedon is coming along great! We have had the plumbing done, electrical, windows changed, and floors are being done today...hopefully the lettering on the awning will be done next week...along with painting and moving in. Chalk Pant® will be available in Palmyra till Friday (5/31) - then starting June 1st ...find us at 77 West Main Street, Macedon 14502. Overwhelmed just a little- but also ..so very excited! Thank you to my fantastic husband Steve (The Mr. Purple Painted Lady) for your crazy support and help! This is all happening because of you- it started with a "Little Engine That Could" mural that I was totally scared to do...but somehow you talked me into it! Love you!

Varnish Plus by Faux Effects yellowing question. If you have this in your painting pantry- you are obviously a well versed painter.
I live in a small country community. The closest place is a couple of hours drive to buy Annie Sloan chalk paint or any other for that matter. Is there a place that will do online orders?

Do you use Twitter? My day is so full it is crazy to keep up on emails, Facebook, and phone calls alone- let alone another social media outlet- but I am curious! I also dislike reading a Facebook post when it is filled with "#" in front of every word. What is your opinion?

Hi there! I called this afternoon and spoke with Angela! Hoping to get some information shared back to me. Stop on over to my Facebook page and return the love by LIKING my page. As I said- I am a decorative painter! Thanks so much!!!
To all of our friends in Oklahoma- our heart breaks for you and the devastation & loss. You all must come from generations of strong survivors, but this cross was seriously more than any one community should have to bare. Know that we care and our prayers are being lifted up for all of you! Rose Kennedy said, "Birds sing after a storm; why shouldn't people feel as free to delight in whatever sunlight remains to them?"
Hi! A new like from Memories of Home Vintage, an Annie Sloan stockist in the UK :)

Hey Maryam Mehdikhan...did you know we have a Paint Mixer Tool on The Purple Painted Lady website to play with various ratios of Chalk Paint® colors to see what the end result would look like? You sent me a photo of a garage door that you liked the brown color of - here are 2 possible ideas: And feel free to play with this tool yourself! Here is a link to it=> http://www.thepurplepaintedlady.com/paint-mixer/
I used chalk paint for the first time recently and redid my table. I left too much of the dark wax on the table. I would like to rub it off but it is very difficult at this point. Is there an easier way to get it off now that it is dry?
