"Paloma" Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan
The Purple Painted Lady refers to this color as similar to Paris Grey- but with a mild hint of purple in it- or lavender I should say! I took the photo of the sample board holding t in front of a buffet painted in Paris Grey- trying to show you the closeness but yet- the difference between the two. (I hope that did not confusion) According to Annie Sloan- This is a beautiful sophisticated warm taupe with a great deal of depth, made by mixing two complementary colors, purple and yellow with white. It is a new color in the Annie Sloan palette. View the vintage 1950s table painted in Paloma with the edges painted in French Linen and a little dab of Pure White on the drawer knob- photo courtesy of Annie Sloan.
Don’t forget when purchasing Chalk Paint® Decorative Paint by Annie Sloan- to consider purchasing her Clear Wax also. Annie’s paint and wax were created to partner perfectly together! The paint itself will harden but the wax will truly protect it! The wax does completely harden and it becomes hard and is water repellent. It is a wonderful protective finish that you can buff once dry- to the sheen you desire.
